Apple Cider Moscow Mules

Try a seasonal variation of this classic cocktail.

Medically reviewed in February 2021

Apple and cinnamon put a cold weather spin on this classic cocktail. Mules are normally served in a copper mug, but any glassware you have on hang works just as well.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces ginger flavored vodka

  • 2 ounces apple cider (store bought or homemade)
  • Juice of 1 small lime wedge

  • Good quality ginger beer to top off (about 1⁄2 cup or so)
  • Cinnamon to sprinkle

In a copper mug, add the vodka, apple cider and lime juice. Fill the glass with ice, sprinkle cinnamon over the ice, then top off with ginger beer. Stir well and garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick.
